These Terms of Service govern your use of the setandspin.com website and summarize the standard terms of our Appliance Rental Agreement. The full Appliance Rental Agreement signed at delivery is the binding contract between you and Set & Spin (the “Company”).
Set & Spin is a washer and dryer rental business operating in Calgary, Alberta and surrounding areas. The business is owned and operated by Harman Sharda. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Set & Spin.
All rental agreements have a minimum term of twelve (12) months at the agreed monthly rate. After the fixed term, the agreement continues automatically on a month-to-month basis under the same terms. Either party may end the month-to-month period by giving one (1) full month’s written notice. The Client must continue paying the monthly fee until the end of the notice period.
The first payment is due on the day of installation. Subsequent monthly payments are processed automatically. We accept credit and debit cards. We do not accept cash, cheques, or money orders. A security deposit may apply at our discretion.
We provide free delivery and professional installation within our service area. The installer is not a licensed plumber or electrician. By accepting installation, the Client agrees that Set & Spin is not liable for damages during or after installation, including fire, flooding, electrical issues, structural damage, or injury, and waives all related claims.
We will repair or replace appliances at no cost if failure is due to normal use or mechanical malfunction. The Client is financially responsible for damage or malfunction caused by misuse, modification, or negligence.
If a rented appliance is stolen, lost, or otherwise not returned, the Client agrees to pay the full replacement value of the appliance based on current retail price.
The Client agrees to provide a safe installation area, use the appliances as intended, allow access for maintenance, and report issues immediately.
By Set & Spin: We may terminate the agreement if the Client breaches its terms. All appliances must be returned immediately on termination.
By the Client:The Client may terminate by giving one (1) full month’s written notice. If the Client is still within the fixed twelve-month term, they remain responsible for payment of the full remaining lease term, even if they stop using the appliances.
This is a rental program, not rent-to-own. All appliances remain the property of Set & Spin at all times.
Active customers may refer friends, family, or neighbours. When a referred customer signs a rental agreement and completes installation, the referring customer receives one (1) month of rental credit applied to their account. There is no cap on referral credits. We reserve the right to modify or end the program at any time.

Except where prohibited by law, Set & Spin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, products, or services.
These Terms and any rental agreement are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta. Mediation in Alberta is required before any legal action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
